John founded Inspirio Consulting Group LLC to provide real world guidance in Sales, Marketing, Operational Excellence, Leadership, Recruiting, Merger & Acquisition, and Market Advisory with some 35 years of experience in the domestic and global industrial and TIC world. A highly accomplished senior executive with domestic and international experience in operations, business development, sales and marketing, acquisition purchase and sales integration, technology development, geographical leveraging, and strategic market planning in developed and emerging geographies. John is a results-oriented, decisive leader with proven success while holding high-level roles with recognized industry leaders in the industrial and TIC space in SGS, Hi-Tech Intertek, Furmanite, Team Industrial Services, and T.D. WIlliamson.
With a proven long-term record of increasing profitability, operational efficiency, market share, and sales and marketing measurable performance. Experience in multi-site and multi-discipline management, capital planning, administration, policy development and implementation, personnel recruitment and development, contract negotiations, business budgeting and planning, quality, and health, safety and environment. Executive level trained in LEAN, SMART, and Collaboration processes in serving the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream market sectors.

With over 30 years experience in the Industrial and Inspection sector, David has served in senior executive leadership roles most recently as Chief Operating Officer of the North America Health, Safety & Environmental Services division of Bureau Veritas, a global leader in TIC services. Prior to Bureau Veritas, David was the Senior Vice President at SGS the largest global TIC provider, leading the Oil, Gas & Chemicals (OGC) division, for Central and North America. Earlier in his career, David held senior sales leadership roles at a range of companies in the TIC and Industrial Services industries, including TEAM Industrial Services, REP Associates, InTank Services, Petrochem (TUV) and Mesa Technical Services, where David was a partner. David has also held Subject Matter Expert roles early in his technical career, working in Testing and NDT Inspection companies.
As a senior executive, David has been responsible for operations, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, innovation, restructuring, budgeting, support functions, sales & marketing, forecasting, LEAN initiatives and has had full P&L ownership. David has provided services to his clients in manufacturing, retail, banking, energy, oil and gas, power, chemical, aerospace, food, and pharmaceutical industries. David currently serves as a lecturer at the University of Houston-Downtown, College of Business in the MBA program and has served as a Non-Executive Board member.
